APPLICATIONS TO REGISTER FOR TEMPORARY/CASUAL EMPLOYMENT

Applicants are invited to register for casual and temporary employment with the ACT Department of Education and Training as a Classroom Teacher or in an administrative/support role at the Departments website www.det.act.gov.au/employment . You can apply to be included on the Department's temporary/casual employment register at any time throughout the year by completing and returning the forms on the website.

RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION

Classroom Teachers who hold a 2009 registration card to work in ACT public schools will need to apply for renewal of their registration by 31 March 2010 if they wish to continue to be considered for employment beyond that time. Renewal applications will be available from 16 November 2009 on the Department’s website at http://www.det.act.gov.au/employment/casual_employment/casual_teachers#renewal

Employees/applicants registered for administrative or other support staff work who hold a 2009 registration card to work in ACT public schools will need to apply for renewal of their registration by 31 December 2009 if they wish to continue to be considered for employment in 2010. CHANGE OF ADDRESS AND/OR PERSONAL DETAILS

If you change any of your personal details such as name, address, contact numbers or email address you MUST ensure that you advise Shared Services Centre, Payroll Services in writing to GPO Box 158, Canberra ACT 2601or by email to sharedservicespayroll@act.gov.au .
